SXPC Pi Day Celebration 2023
Pi Day is a celebration of the mathematical constant pi (π), which is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. This year, the St.Xavier's Physics Council (SXPC)-Nepal celebrated Pi Day on March 14, 2023 with great enthusiasm.
The event began with a lecture on the history and significance of pi, delivered by one of the club's members. This was followed by a short video on students opinion and concept abot pi, including a pi recitation competition, a pi-finity game, and a pie-eating .
The highlight of the event was the pi memorization competition, where participants had to recite as many digits of pi as they could from memory. The winner managed to recite an impressive digits of pi, earning him a round of applause with certificate from the audience.
In addition to the activities, the event also featured a pi-themed photo booth and a pi-inspired art exhibit, showcasing the creativity and talent of the club members.
